How to Update the Firmware on a Nikon D500

I’ve just uploaded a new video to my TEDtv YouTube Channel:

A 7 minute tutorial on how to download and install the latest firmware upgrade on a Nikon D500 DSLR camera.

Firmware Upgrade from C 1.11 to C 1.12.

(from Nikon) Fixed an issue that resulted in unreliable connections between the camera and the iOS 10.2 version of the SnapBridge app.

This upgrade procedure is very similar to many other Nikon cameras.

Tech level: LOW
Time to complete: about 10 minutes.

GoPro Hero 4 Session – Protune Bug

I’ve just uploaded a new video to my TEDtv YouTube Channel:

UPDATE : June 12, 2017

This issue has still NOT been resolved through several updated to the Capture App (iOS). GoPro exchanged my camera for a new one, as I also complained that the wireless connectivity was having issues… but the ProTune problem described in this video is still present with the new camera.

WORKAROUND : I can confirm the that by using the GoPro Smart Remote you can indeed access all ProTune settings and make desired changes to your settings.

Description of the current bug recognized by GoPro with the Hero 4 Session and Protunes Settings. Bug first appeared early February and still not resolved after a couple of Capture App updates (as of today March 9).
