I’ve been living and working near Neuchâtel, Switzerland since 2001, but I’m originally from St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada. I specialize in capturing dynamic wildlife, nature, and sports images. On request I also shoot event photography. Since Covid, I’ve also been doing a significant amount of deep space astrophotography.
My love for nature started early—I’ve always been passionate about hiking and the outdoors. The Swiss Alps and Jura “highlands” are perfect for feeding that need to be immersed in nature.
Previously, I played basketball professionally in Europe and for the Canadian Men’s National Team. My college career was at Acadia University in Nova Scotia, Canada. Sports have always been a huge part of my life, and this background has given me a unique perspective when it comes to capturing action-filled moments in sports and nature photography.
I’ve also been working as an events organising specialist (PCO) and project manager at the FSRM since 2006 (and deputy director since 2017). I have extensive experience coordinating multi-partner projects across private sector and university settings, both within Switzerland and on an international scale (Europe, Asia and North America).
I’ve always been a curious traveler, fascinated by new cultures and especially remote places. There’s something special about those extreme locations, far from the usual tourist spots, and I’m drawn to capturing the raw beauty and fleeting moments in those environments.
In addition to photography, my background in survey engineering has led me to explore aerial imagery, including 360-degree immersive panoramas.
Clients appreciate my reliability, flexibility, and my ability to consistently deliver quality work, no matter the challenge.
