Images on this site represent a small subset of images that are available for purchase. Fine Art prints and immediate digital downloads are available for purchase through my stock site hosted on Photoshelter. This is where the majority of my images for purchase can be viewed. I also have a sub-set hosted with the agency Alamy.
I. Fine Art Prints
All images are available as signed, high quality prints on premium paper. Orders are treated within 2-3 working days and will usually be professionally packaged and delivered to any address in Switzerland within 7-10 working days. International delivery is available. As well, local printing / delivery can be arranged in many countries through the formidable Photoshelter Print Vendor network. This is an excellent way to reduce shipping costs while maintaining a high-quality product. If you would like to print locally please let me know before purchasing so that I can make arrangements.
II. Digital Downloads
- All images files are available for immediate purchase and download.
- All digital downloads are high-quality, jpeg format with embedded sRGB profile.
- The maximum available resolution for each file is displayed for each image.
Remember, when you “buy” a digital image, you are actually “leasing” the image… what you are actually buying is the right to use an image with explicit restrictions.
In general, there are two different models that are well-known, both of which I offer.
i. Digital Download – Commercial or Editorial Use
Most of my images are sold with a “right-to-use” (rights-managed, or “RM”) license, meaning that you purchase the use of an image for a very specific use and duration for commercial use.
My RM prices are based on the industry-standard fotoQuote. When you click “Add to Cart” for a given image, a dialog will appear and calculate a price, based on how you use the image. It may seem complicated, but if you’re a publisher or editor then you are certainly used to this process. If you’re unsure of what options to choose, just ask me.
ii. Digital Download – Personal Use ***
Most images are also available digitally for personal use at a reduced price, sometimes at a lower resolution. If this option is not visible when you click on “Add to cart”, then it is simply not available for personal use.
The following is a general guide for personal use licenses for standard sizes – with prices for panoramic and exotic formats being slightly higher. The pixel dimension displayed refers to the image’s longest side. All prices in Swiss Francs (CHF).
